Florida roofing lives or dies on the details you cannot see: deck attachment, secondary water barrier, and the fastening pattern. PUKTA Roofing builds to the current wind code and documents each stage for your insurer.
We work across Tampa, Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, Plant City, Lutz, Land O' Lakes, Wesley Chapel, Odessa, Zephyrhills and Lakeland, covering Hillsborough, Pasco and Polk County. Call (813) 363-6303 with the property address and we will confirm coverage and availability.
Most residential roofs take a small number of days of on-site work, depending on size, pitch and how much decking needs replacing. Weather can extend it, since roofing cannot proceed in heavy rain, and this is worth building into expectations during storm season.
Shorter than the manufacturer literature suggests, because of UV intensity and heat. An attic that is poorly ventilated shortens it further by cooking the shingles from underneath. Roofs here commonly reach replacement well before the nominal rating.
Usually undersizing or too few downspouts for the roof area draining to them. A long run with a single outlet cannot move water fast enough even if the trough is adequately wide. Blockage is the other common cause.
Call (813) 363-6303 or email roofing@pukta.com and describe what the property is doing. We will tell you whether it needs a visit, what the work likely involves, and how soon we can get there. If the scope needs a permit, we handle the application and the inspections.
